Please write down names of sophomores to be recruited into the academic Talent Search program for their junior and senior years. Please hand your list in to Mr. DiCasimirro within the next 2 weeks if possible. You are key in getting students extra help with exploring career interests, SAT preparation and fee waivers, budgeting, study skills, interviewing skills, selecting and applying to colleges, college application fee waivers, financial aid information, searching for scholarships, time and stress management, and tours of local post-secondary school campuses.
Please recommend students who, to the best of
your knowledge, might possibly meet the
following criteria:
First generation post-secondary students
(parents do not have a 4-year Bachelor’s degree)
Financially disadvantaged (perhaps eligible
for free or reduced lunch)
Post-secondary school potential – good/fair
grades, attendance, and behavior
