Remember you must complete the FAFSA to receive financial aid.  If you need help completing the FAFSA, contact your area EOC office.

2012-13 FAFSA - available after Jan. 1, 2012

The 2012-13 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) can be processed any time after January 1, 2012. The form can be done either on line (www.fafsa.gov) or in paper form (call 1-800-4 FED AID to request).  Even if you are unsure which school you will be attending, it is to your benefit to complete the 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible.

Please complete the FAFSA even if you missed the deadline for state or campus based monies.  You may still be eligible for federal monies.


FEDERAL - The deadline for applying for Federal Student Aid (PELL grants, loans, work-study) using the 2012-13 FAFSA is June 30, 2013.
PENNSYLVANIA - The financial aid deadline for PHEAA grants is May 1, 2012 for ALL renewal applicants and new applicants who plan to enroll in a college, university or college-transferable program. The deadline is Aug. 1, 2012 for first time applicants who plan to enroll in a business, trade or technical school, a hospital school of nursing, or a two-year terminal (non-transferable two-year degree) program at a community, junior or four-year college.
CAMPUS BASED
- Check with the school where you hope to enroll for their deadline for submitting financial aid forms for any available campus aid. Each one is different. Some are as early as Feb. 15, 2012.
